How to Subscribe to our Journal

If you would like to receive our professional journal, the MDÜ, you can easily arrange this by completing our subscription form online here.

You can choose between the following types of subscription:
Trial subscription: 3 issues for € 40.00 (incl. postage when delivered to an address within Germany, plus postage when delivered to an address outside Germany)
This enables you to test three issues. If you like our journal and wish to continue receiving it, your subscription will be extended automatically as an annual subscription. If not, you can cancel the subscription at any time up to one week after you receive the 3rd issue.
Annual subscription: 6 issues for € 80.00 (incl. postage when delivered to an address within Germany, plus postage when delivered to an address outside Germany)
The current issues will be regularly sent to your address in Germany or abroad. If you live in a European country but outside Germany, you can choose delivery by surface mail or air mail.
Student subscription: 6 issues for € 35.00 (incl. postage when delivered to an address within Germany, plus postage when delivered to an address outside Germany)
On submission of evidence of your student status you can obtain an annual student subscription.
Reduced-rate subscription: 6 issues for € 71.- (incl. postage when delivered to an address within Germany, plus postage when delivered to an address outside Germany).
On submission of evidence that you belong to a FIT member organization, you can obtain a reduced-rate annual subscription.
The reduced rate is also available to subscribers to the “Lebende Sprachen” journal.

Order You can order the current issue (.) at the cost of 15.00 € (plus 1.20 € for postage within Germany or 3.00 € when delivered to an address outside Germany).

a trial subscription for three issues of the MDÜ at the cost of € 40.00, incl. value-added tax and postage when delivered to an address within Germany, plus postage when delivered to an address outside Germany. This trial subscription is non-repeatable. If I no longer wish to receive the MDÜ, I will cancel the subscription not later than one week after the publication date of the third issue dispatched to me under the trial subscription. If I do not cancel the trial subscription, it will be extended automatically as an annual subscription at the cost of € 80.00 incl. value-added tax and postage (within Germany).

an annual subscription for six issues of the MDÜ at the cost of € 80.00 incl. value-added tax, plus postage (when delivered to an address outside Germany). I will receive an invoice. The subscription can be cancelled up to 30th September of the current year: cancellation will take effect at the end of the year concerned. Members of the BDÜ receive the MDÜ automatically on payment of the annual membership subscription.

Information on cancellation option

This order can be cancelled within 14 days by notification to the following address: Bundesgeschäftsstelle des BDÜ e.V., Kurfürstendamm 170, 10707 Berlin (fax: ++ 49 30 88712840). Timely dispatch of the cancellation by letter or fax will be regarded as due compliance with the stated deadline.

Storage of data

The data you enter here will be forwarded to the Federal Head Office (Bundesgeschäftsstelle) of the BDÜ.
The data will solely be used and stored for the processing of your MDÜ Subscription Order and will not be communicated to any third party.
In addition to the information you provide, the data for the IP address of your Internet connection will be stored.
